The Allams Christmas Premier Show and Sale is the highlight of the commercial season in Northern Ireland. Taking the top price was Jaffacake a 13-month-old Charolais cross heifer owned by Rodgers and Casement Families.
Jaffacake took the Charolais Champion and Reserve Overall Champion at the Allams event at the RUAS showgrounds in Belfast, when the hammer fell to take top price of the day £5,600 the owners where delighted to hear Jaffacake was sold to commercial breeders McGrivan Family Co Cork.

Another very successful Agri Expo was held at Carlisle on Friday. Thank you to all our helpers on the stand and all those who provided cattle and refreshments. The guess the total weight of the 3 heifers competition creates much interest and the total was weight was 1310kgs.
Joint winners, each guessing 1309 kg’s were Trevor Telford, Roadhead, Carlisle and Amanda Watson, Harrogate. They will each recieve a Charolais jacket as their prize.
