BCCS takes very seriously its responsibility towards ensuring that herd book entries and other recorded data is accurate. BCCS has an active Breedplan Committee and a Council that is committed to a strong position in any event that inaccurate data is flagged up so that members and buyers of Charolais bulls can be reassured in this regard. Any member that submits inaccurate data either knowingly or carelessly should be aware that the combination of Pedigree Cattle Services, Breedplan and your Society now has more tools to detect this than ever before. The good name and reputation of the British Charolais Cattle Society and its members is important and it cannot be allowed to be tarnished by any minority selfish actions. It is therefore imperative for all members to record their data accurately.
