Inverlochy Fencer scoops interbreed title at Forfar

Senior interbreed and senior breed champion Inverlochy Fencer from John and
Raymond Irvine, Ballindalloch, Banffshire.

A 14
month old bull from John and Raymond Irvine, Ballindalloch, Banffshire took
home the senior interbreed championship at the second annual Stars of the
Future Calf Show held at Forfar on Saturday 19 November.
Inverlochy Fencer TI +44, SRI +52, a son of the
30,000gns Balmyle Bollinger and out of Inverlochy Volga, Fencer took home
the Charolais senior championship before going on to take the senior
interbreed title.

Senior female champion Inverlochy Francine from John and Raymond Irvine.
Inverlochy Francine TI +55, SRI +54, again from the
Irvines, was awarded the Charolais senior heifer championship. This 15 month
old is by Lochend Apache, a 4,000gns 2007 purchase for the Irvines and out
of Inverlochy Thursday.

Junior breed champion was awarded to Ugie Goodmorning from Jimmy Wilson,
Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.
Overall
junior breed champion went to Ugie
Goodmorning TI +37, SRI +36, a 10 month old heifer from Jimmy Wilson,
Peterhead, Aberdeenshire by the 14,000gns Perth 2007 reserve senior champion
Goldies Banker and out of Ugie Demi. Messrs Wilson also won the class for
bulls born between 26 September and 16 December 2010 with the 13 month old
Ugie Figurehead TI +42, SRI +36
by the 6,500gns Balmyle Denholm and out of Ugie Urith.

Dunesk General from Jimmy and Margaret McMillan, Brechin, Angus took home
the junior male championship
Dunesk General TI +31, SRI +25, an eight month old
bull from Jimmy and Margaret McMillan, Brechin, Angus by Elgin Columbo and
out of the 2010 Angus Show reserve supreme champion Dunesk Diana secured the
junior bull championship.
