Welsh Beef Quality Improvement Project

Over four hundred Welsh farmers have already registered with Hybu Cig Cymru – Meat Promotion Wales (HCC) to claim the funding available through the Welsh Beef Quality Improvement Project (WBQIP). As part of the project farmers attend a series of three meetings focusing on modern approaches in breed improvement and health management.
The project offers funding of 40% up to £2,500 towards purchasing top performing bull, funding is also available to performance record commercial and pedigree cattle.

Top 10% on 400 day growth
and/or
Top 10% for muscle depth

Bulls must be in top 90% in calving ease.

Please note that the last date that a bull can be purchased through this project is the 31st of December 2007.
